La Revolucion de Los Lideres
by The MikadaThe genre of reggaeton started aging EXTREMELY quickly...but Wisin y Yandel are taking the genre and bringing it into THIS age. There's a lot more electro beats in reggaeton now, but this album is definitely still reggaeton. The dembow beats are still in there, Yandel's slow verses and Wisin's raps are still in there, and the listing of all the artists involved with each song is still in there. Wisin y Yandel have used this album to demonstrate the evolving reggaeton's flexibility as a musical genre - they have dance songs (Abusadora, Ella Me Llama) and the seductive, smooth, sex-related songs (Encendio, Ahi Voy), great collaborations (Mujeres In the Club, Perfecto), ballads (Gracias a Ti, Como Quieres Que Te Olvide) and other great tracks (Descara, Me Estas Tentando, among all the rest). With this album, Wisin y Yandel have proven they are truly "Los Lideres". They the best at what they do and have done a spectacular job using this album to bring reggaeton into today's digital age.
